The government in their wisdom have been ferreting around for other ways to relieve us of our money. Following the expenses of the foot and mouth outbreak and mad cow disease it has been decided to Levy a tax per head on all livestock that could be affected by any widespread epidemic, prices have been quoted of �10.50 - �100 per animal per year. Hi, just some info in case anyone else goes to the CCC site at Luss. Had a good week, weather not as bad as forecast. Site is OK depending where you are. A lot of pitches are overgrown with trees. Would not have liked to be on one of those, no tele, no light and no phone signal. If you go, try to get pitch 1 or 4. We were on 4, Sky signal 89% strength and 89% quality. Phone GPRS only though wi fi available (at a cost) Buses out of summer season not too great but plenty all over from Balloch. ...

second fresh water tank on a carthago

How do you drain it?

where you fill the water there is a big valve to drain of that tank. the second tank is linked by a pipe but it won't drain all the water due to the connection being about half inch of the bottom. I worry that when we dont use the van for many weeks this watter will go off.
